Description:Parata has an opening for a Business Intelligence Analyst. The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for complex data analysis that demonstrates value to the business. This role will primarily support sales and marketing analytics and analysis to help drive decision making. Sales and marketing analytics include areas such as CRM data analysis, budgeting, forecasting, pipeline, velocity, productivity, talent management, headcount planning and territory design, training, and more. The analyst will use predictive analytics to uncover patterns in how customers buy from Parata, transforming the broadest array of internal and external data into ongoing, account-specific actions for the field sales team. The role interfaces with a variety of audiences, including corporate executive team, regional Sales Vice Presidents, Sales Directors, Marketing team, and Functional leaders to build out facts to drive actions.
The candidate must bring a solid understanding of Parata’s business goals and objectives to correlate information, explain variances, and communicate results in the context of sales and marketing performance against goals and the broader market. A successful analyst must have business knowledge and strong business acumen to develop and communicate high business value opportunities that influence decisions.
Duties:• Work with Sales and Marketing Leadership to define KPIs; Design, create and maintain Sales and Marketing Dashboards in SFDC
• Create and maintain the Parata Sales Engine – streamlining information and metrics to the Sales and Marketing management teams in real time to help facilitate the business decision making process
• Sales Performance to Plan reporting
• Measuring Marketing Campaign Effectiveness
• Analyzing and reporting on Channel Partner Performance
• Adhoc Non-standard Reporting: Delivery of simple and complex requests. May include leading Adhoc assignments and survey process
Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Math, Finance or related field
• Strong analytical background with a minimum of two years of relevant financial analysis business experience
• Data warehouse experience a plus
• SQL Server reporting skills a plus
• Marketing automation tool experience a plus
• SFDC/Siebel Analytics/Business Intelligence Equivalent tool experience is a plus
• Highly proficient computer skills with MS Office with advanced skills in Excel
• Advanced analytical, problem solving, and organization skills
• Advanced skills in creating charts and graphics
• Excellent demonstrated verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate statistical findings
• Ability to proactively identify, analyze and recommend opportunities for the sales organization based on information gathered
• Demonstrated ability to understand the bridging of data into relevant/useful information
• Demonstrated multi-tasking skills; Demonstrated attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization
• Experience working with sales and production forecasting and budgeting, sales data management and incentive programs
