This position is responsible for management of all corporate level production and test databases. The DBA is expected to install, configure, and upgrade database servers; plan for the successful retirement of older installations; ensure security, availability, and performance; develop and manage the corporate data warehouse; and work with key stakeholders to develop corporate reports and dashboards in a Microsoft centric environment.

Duties:Job Responsibilities

•Monitor and manage all corporate level database servers
• Troubleshoot database related problems or issues
• Escalates and communicates database problems
• Review and manage project requests including requirements, time and cost estimates
• Develop and maintain database architectures, coding standards, quality assurance, and business continuity policies and procedures
• Create models for new database development and/or changes to existing ones
• Plan and coordinate data migrations between systems
• Monitor database system details within the database including physical data storage, stored procedures, execution time, and implement efficiency improvements
• Manage change control process for testing and implementing change requests
• Create, or support creation of, required reports and dashboards in response to business user needs
• Perform database transaction and security audits
• Continual management and refinement of the corporate data warehouse
Qualifications:Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science , Information Systems, Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Information Technology
• Strong understanding of database structures theories, principles, and practices
• Hands-on database tuning and troubleshooting experience
• Experience with data processing flowcharting techniques
• Strong technical documentation and oral communication skills
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Detailed knowledge of MS-SQL Server, SQL Analytics

Desired Experience (but not required):

• Experience with MS PowerPivot for SharePoint
• Experience with MS PerformancePoint
